Curriculum

The Kearney R-1 School District offers a comprehensive curriculum at all levels. Teachers are assigned to curriculum committees in subject areas and work to update curriculum on a five-year rotation. Textbooks and other teaching tools are selected and incorporated into the classroom to teach the curriculum. Each area of the curriculum is aligned to the Missouri Show Me Standards and includes standardized testing, performance assessments and local objectives.
